Rev. & Mrs. Carl Johnson in Need of Prayer:
by Webmaster on 07/31/10  - - NEW!
It seems that Satan is doing his very best to discourage these precious Saints of God.  Let us lift them to the Throne in the coming days.  Bro. Johnson is doing better but they both need encouragement at this time.

UPDATED Request for Sis. Judy Williams:
by Rev. Roger Hatfield on 07/31/10 - - NEW!
Judy Williams had been doing better with the side effects of the chemo this time, up until today.

Today she is very sick and cannot even tolerate fluids. They are considering having to take her to the emergency room if she does not stop.

There is a bright spot in this situation though. Judy feels like the Lord has given her a promise found in Psalm 118:17,18
17: I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
18: The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

Praise the Lord for His goodness & His faithfulness to His children. Let us join her in claiming this promise!

PRAISE REPORT from Dr. Paul Kaufman:
by Webmaster on 07/27/10  Excerpted from his Facebook posts. - - NEW!
POST I:
A few words are in order for all my friends and well-wishers who have so faithfully prayed for me and my family. We began surgery in Cleveland's University Hospital by asking our surgeon if he believed in prayer. "Absolutely," he replied, to which I responded, "You will be the most prayed-for surgeon in America today." "Good," he answered, "I can use all the help I can get."

POST II:
The surgery began at 9:20am and concluded at 4:30PM. The most beautiful words we heard all day was when the pathologist entered our room and announced,"We got all the cancer!" In unison we all exclaimed, "Praise the Lord!" Thanks to each of you for your love, concern and prayers! Due to the condition of my face, I am unable to be seen in public (I'd scare the babies!)

POST III:
Facial reconstruction began in the final stages of surgery and should be concluded in six weeks. As my surgery progresses, I would like to thank each of you personally for your prayers!
